She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Klaver Sr.; and her sister Joan DeVries. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Klaver Jr., Jeanine VanDyke (Mike) and James Klaver (Tammy); her grandchildren, Kami Klaver, Dylan VanDyke (Bailee), Shelby VanDyke, Christopher Klaver, Elizabeth Klaver and Matthew Klaver; her brothers, John Lamberts (Florence), David Lamberts (Pam), Richard Lamberts (Sue) and Lee Lamberts (Illy); and also Niko. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cook Funeral & Cremation Services (4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI 49418).
