He was predeceased by: his brother Joe; his parents, Harold and Betty; and his wife Sandy. He is survived by: his sister Jean Evert (Donald); his sister-in-law Barb Gamble; his nieces and nephews, Marcy Mayle (Jamie), Wendy DeSmit (Joseph), Jeffrey Evert (Jennifer), Walt Gamble and Mike Gamble (Erin); and also Cuncannon.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grandville-Jenison Congregational Church, the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard, or Spectrum Health Hospice.
