With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Elders Sr. of Grandville, Michigan, who passed away on August 30, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille; his son-in-law Gene Scholma; and his brothers, John, Marvin and Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Fred (Carol Elders), Diane Scholma, Marcia Elders (David Apol), Duane (Linda Elders), Dale (Cathy Elders) and Lori (John Oosterman); his sisters-in-law, Joanne Zylstra and Cora Hoogerwerf; and his close friend Hazel Besselsen. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
