He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Nellie Doezema; his wife Ruth Doezema; his siblings, Cornelius Doezema, Charles Doezema, Evelyn Peters and Joyce Pastoor (Neil); and his granddaughter Amber Evelyn Stone.
He is survived by: his daughters, June Doezema (Michael Lovellette) and Dawn Doezema-Stone (Michael Hollinshead); his granddaughters, Aileen Stone, Alisa Stone (Nauman Mangla) and Abigail Parolini; his great grandchild Luna Parolini; his brothers, Don Doezema (Judy), Bill Doezema (Marianne) and Dave Doezema (Marsha); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Doezema. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM.
