She was predeceased by: her father Leonard Schlipp. She is survived by: her husband Captain Don Nichols; her children, Captain Donald S. Nichols and Dr. Deborah Nichols; her mother Delores Schlipp; her siblings, Laurie Schlipp and Ward Schlipp; her grandchildren, Sydney Sawyer (Aaron), Devyn Lee (Joshua), Alexander, Callahan, Sophia and Beckett Linebarger; and her great grandchildren, Knolyn Fritz-Nichols and Emily Sawyer.
