He was predeceased by: his sister Judy Sturm (Dale). He is survived by: his wife Mare; his siblings, John Sorenson and Anne Sorenson; his children, Drew Sorenson (Lorin) and Martha Velting (Brent); and his grandchildren, Leila, Levi, Luke and Arie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rehoboth Christian School or The Alano Club of Kent County - two organizations that gave shape to Tom's life.
