He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Steele and Dorothy Steele (Urbanski); his brother Bob Steele; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Jenison (Ken), Dan Rhodes and Jerry Doubblestien.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his siblings, Nancy Steele and Ron Steele (Haviland); his sister-in-law Jane Steele; and also, Wayne Rhodes (Sharon), Craig Rhodes (Nancy), Cindy Doubblestien, Jim and Sally Morris.

Memorial donations in memory of Tom may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
