She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her sons-in-law, Marty Kane, Mark Miller and Ray Valliere; and her grandchildren, Blake Gravelyn, Andrew Vanderhyde and Audrey Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Teft (Jim), Steven Gravelyn (Pat), Sharon Kane, Jane Vanderhyde (Kevin), Rick Gravelyn (Val), Tim Gravelyn (Carol), Diane Brown (Roger), Fred Gravelyn (Deb), Joseph Gravelyn, Cathy O'Neil (Jim), Margaret Miller, Gerard Gravelyn (Tammy), Beth Schmidt (Brandon), Carol Watson (Mark), Patty Valliere and Paul Gravelyn (Heather); her siblings, Dorothy Eister, Charles Cochran and William Cochran; and her sister-in-law Barb Kryger. She is also survived by her 62 grandchildren; over 100 great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Alphonsus Catholic Church (224 Carrier St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
