In the vast expanse of eternity, Thelma Maxine Vander shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Thelma Maxine Vander farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger; and her parents, Frank Hendrickson and Ruth Hendrickson. She is survived by: her sons, Dave (Jean), Steve (Yvonne) and Bob (Shelby). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grand Rapids Christian Schools.
