She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Alexander; her parents, John Penning and Betty Penning (Bigler); and her siblings, Nancy L. Penning and Robert James Penning.
She is survived by: her daughter Rose Weaver; her son-in-law David Clark of Interlochen, MI; her daughter Christina Alexander of Kentwood, MI; her grandchildren, Justin, Shane and Grace; and her sisters, Sharon Penning of Emeryville, CA and Dawn Anderson (Phil) of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by cat Cookie; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
