He was predeceased by: his father Bill VanDam; his great-grandparent Marie Ezinga; his grandparents, Gerald Kooienga and Eleanor Kooienga; his uncles, Larry Kooienga and Bob VanDam; and his pet Frank.
He is survived by: his mother Sharon Kooienga; his sister Michelle Scudder; and his nephews, Keegan (Kristen), Rylie and Connor (Jenni). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the American Legion Post 47 (3811 W River Dr NE, Comstock Park, MI 49321).
