He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon DeWitt and Dorothy DeWitt. He is survived by: his significant other Michele McCready; his siblings, Bill DeWitt, David DeWitt, Gordon DeWitt and Jill DeWitt; and his pets, Bubba and Pinky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A reception was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location.
