He is survived by: his siblings, Jonathon Medawis, Matthew Medawis, Sherri Medawis and Merri Medawis; his grandchildren, Brandon Lee and Wiingush Qua Medawis Sheahan; his children, Sarah Medawis and Jeremy Sheahan (Elena); his grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Jessa, Dabian, Mazhaquet, Catori-Lee and Memingwanhs; and his siblings, Henry "Buddy" Medawis III, Toni "Big T" Medawis and Barbara Medawis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Luella Collins Community Center (419 126th Ave, Wayland, MI 49344). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
