She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall G. Dempsey and Cindy Kay Dempsey; her brother Brett C. Dempsey; and her grandmother Shirley Curtis. She is survived by: her brother Adam Dempsey; her nieces and nephews, Adam Dempsey Jr., Marshall Dempsey, Holly Dempsey and Kaitlyn Dempsey; her stepfather Michael Luther (Jamie); her close friend Glenn Shupe; and her grandmother Ruth Whetstone (Leon). She is also survived by several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stacy's favorite charities: Alternative Pathways (the support community where Stacy lived the past four years, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the Humane Society).
