It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Alberts of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Townsend and Marie Townsend; her husband Richard Alberts; and her brothers, James Townsend and Richard Townsend.
She is survived by: her son Ted; her daughter-in-law Cathy Alberts; her grandson Gerrit; her sisters, Carol Zimmer, Nancy Timmer and Alma Hofstra; her siblings-in-law, Judy, Silvio, Jean Dood, Roger and Fern Alberts; and her extended family, Chad Delagrange, Tina and Lexi Long. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, friends.
