With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ruth Diephuis (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose life came to an end on November 14, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger; her son-in-law Ron Bigelow; her sister Adrianna; her brother-in-law Duane Beving; her brothers, Gary DeWaard, Herman (Ann DeWaard) and John (Bev DeWaard); and her siblings-in-law, Marvin DeVries, Evelyn DeVries and Mary Ellen Kimber.
She is survived by: her friend Ruth; her children, Dan (Betty Diephuis), Sheryl Bigelow, Brian (Pam Diephuis) and Bob (Lori Lee); her grandchildren, Jeff, Kelly Diephuis, Andrew, Tracy Oostema, Ryan, Pam Diephuis, Mark, Jana Bykerk, Chad Diephuis, Brianne Vander Meer, Kyle, Kristen Diephuis, Aubrey Diephuis, Parker, Hannah McCloud, Gavin McQueen, Avery McQueen, Carson McQueen, Grady McQueen and Regan McQueen; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Heetland and Terry Kimber. She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Est Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
