Roger Pietras Obituary
In loving memory of Roger Pietras (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who departed this world on January 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Roger leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Eric Pietras; and his close friend Tom Erickson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Pietras; his children, Amy Pietras, Sara Alexanian (Angelos), Brian Pietras (Kira) and Kevin Pietras (Pam); his stepchildren, Sharon ZIebol (Jon), Timothy Ryan (Susan), Jessica Kerby (Scott) and Daniel Ryan (Lorraine); his grandchildren, Sophia, Matthew, Rachel, Eva and Hannah; his friends, Charlie Selmon, Jr. and Joan Redmond; his former wife Kathy Pietras; and his niece Jo Weiner. He is also survived by his 15 step-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
