He was predeceased by: his father Rich Kennedy; and his sisters-in-law, Lynn Kennedy and Amy Latus. He is survived by: his mother Pat Kennedy (Cordes); his wife Pat Latus; his children, Claire Aufdemberge (Phil) and Zach; his siblings, Dennis, Jim (Rita) and Barb Scott (Will); his mother-in-law Marilyn Willenbrink; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Latus (Ruth Stevens), Jane Emmert (Gary), Janine Latus and Kristin Davis (Michael). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Grand Rapids Public Museum (272 Pearl St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to a nonprofit fisheries or watershed protection organization of your choice.
