With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Forbes of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Doug Forbes (Dawn), Dawn Cook (David) and Brad Forbes (Nancy); his siblings, Barbara Daniels (Curt), Karen Welniak (Jim), Steve Forbes (Karen Dyer) and J. D. Forbes (Lani); and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Fitch (Loyd) and Jack Knoper. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Peace Church Wayland Building Fund.
