Robert G. Barton Obituary
We bid farewell to Robert G. Barton of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 54. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia "Ginny" Barton; and his brother-in-law David Stearns. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Maggie"; his sons, Daniel Barton (Becca DeVries) and Garrett Barton; his stepdaughter Maria Zarbeck; his father Roger Barton; his siblings, David, Mila Barton, Kevin, Cindy Barton and Linda Stearns; and his pet Millie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49508). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
