Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather William Nordhoek; and his brother-in-law Phil Cooper. He is survived by: his mother Donna Nordhoek; his sister Lauri Coopper; his nephew Michael Cooper (Emily); his niece Alison Cooper (Joe Sikora); his uncles, E. Gerry Hendricks (Betty) and Tom Hendricks (Sally); and his close friend Leslie Sanford.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Est St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (2510 Richmond St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Because of his love of animals, memorial contributions can be made to the Kent County Humane Society.
