She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Steen and Cornelia Vander Steen; her former husband Verlyn Verbrugge; and her husband Tom Cunningham. She is survived by: her children, John Verbrugge, Dorothea Verbrugge, Theodore Verbrugge and Maria Verbrugge; and her grandchildren, Jonny Vizmeg, Leah Vizmeg and Neo Verbrugge.
