He was predeceased by: his parents, John VanderLaan and Betty VanderLaan. He is survived by: his children, Ryan VanderLaan (Jenny), Lindsy Tiderington (Michael) and Jamie Jannerth (Kory); his grandchildren, Colby, Jesa, Brennan, Logan and Jadyn; and his siblings, Ron VanderLaan (Tina), Jim VanderLaan, Barbara Grant (Rich) and Sandra Berry (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
