He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Allison VandenBerg and Mildred VandenBerg (Springer); his brother Doug VandenBerg; his brothers-in-law, Rev. Bob White, Emil Hornack and Dr. John Kemink; and his niece Kristina White.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Zackery VandenBerg (Lisa) and Jeremy VandenBerg (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ella, Kate, Megan, Savannah, Gabriel and Sophia; his sisters, Julie VandenBerg Snow (Jack Snow), Martha Richardson (John) and Mary Herington (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Claudia Larson (Tom), JoAnne White, Janice Hornack, Janet Kemink (Rodney Smith), Christine Maxwell (Don), Sharon Smit (Dick) and Jim Browning (Doti). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Keystone Community Church (655 Spaulding Ave SE, Ada, MI 49301). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Egypt Valley Country Club (7333 Knapp St NE, Ada, MI 49301).
