Richard Purdom Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024, Richard Purdom of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Becky Lynn; his parents, Richard Purdom and Alice Purdom; and his brother Dan Purdom. He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Buikema (Chad) and Tina Purdom; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Naomi and Jackson; his siblings, Peter Purdom and Deb Purdom (Kim Fox); and his siblings-in-law, Barry De Groot (Marilyn), Bonny Messer (Bob) and Bryan De Groot (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church (7171 Willard Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548).
