He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; and his siblings, John Kamp, Peter Kamp, Jane DeMeester, Helen Kamp, Martina Feyter and Ada Bloem.
He is survived by: his children, Barb (Steve Leestma), Richard (Ruth Kamp), Robert (Deb Kamp), Jon (Maureen Kamp) and Daniel (Susan Kamp); and his siblings, Gertrude Westrate, Henry Kamp (Lena) and Emeline Kamp. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Netherlands Reformed Congregation (1261 Beckwith Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
