He was predeceased by: his wife Lilly; his children, Timothy, Robert, Robin, Marshall and Kim; his sisters, Erma and Arlene; and his parents, Donald Carlton Matthews and Edith Marjorie Matthews (Crouch).
He is survived by: his daughter Delight (Jack); and his sisters, Maxine Frymire and Pearl Fredricks. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Raymond was a very generous man, and over the years, he donated to many charities, including Saint Jude, Salvation Army, and Veterans' Organization.
