Philip Palmer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Palmer of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Eugene Palmer and Lila Berniece Lavery Palmer; and his wife Nancy Davis Nebel Palmer of Grand Rapids. He is survived by: his son William Arthur Palmer; his grandchildren, Brian Philip Palmer, Owen Steven Palmer, Quinn Edward Palmer and Lucy Jo Palmer; and also, Jennifer Wilson of Howard City and Anna Brookhouse Palmer of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and great grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Church (707 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clark Retirement Foundation of Grand Rapids, Michigan, The University of Wisconsin – Madison NROTC Alumni Scholarship Fund or Calvary Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
