He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter VanderJagt and Elizabeth "Betty" VanderJagt (Betty). He is survived by: his friend Lou Czewski; his son Pete; his spouse Robin VanderJagt [Stacy]; his children, Joe VanderJagt (Molli), Maria Opoku-Agyeman (Michael), Jennie Mulder (Kevin), Ben VanderJagt (Aditi) and Gabriel VanderJagt (Lissa); his grandchildren, Khloe, Kenzie, Kayla, Kyler, Jace, Jax, Adelaide, Eden, Evangeline, Ruby, Giri, Vari, Elias and Isla; his siblings, Mary Verhey (Richard) and Steven VanderJagt (Mary); his stepfather Bill VanderStel; and his grandson Cameron.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Est Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Est Live Stream Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
