With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul George Wetherbee of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on July 9, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Paul George farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Paul George is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brown Wetherbee and Margaret Evangeline Wetherbee (Hanson); and his sister Katherine Farnbacher (Wetherbee). He is survived by: his wife Nola Anne Wetherbee (Witts-Davis); his son Jeff Wetherbee; his daughter-in-law Karen Wetherbee (Langston); his daughter Shelley van Gilse (Wetherbee); his son-in-law Robert van Gilse; his son Mark Wetherbee; and his daughter-in-law Diane Wetherbee (Roth). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
