Patrick Joseph Curtis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick Joseph Curtis of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Curtis and Mabel Curtis; his in-laws, Leonard and Regina Kowalski; and his siblings, Darlene DeGutis, Sharon Poirier and Robert Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Curtis; his children, Laura Schlundt Bodien (John), Ken Curtis (Michelle) and Matthew Curtis (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Megan Adams (Jake) and Ryan Curtis; his siblings, Paul Curtis (Katie) and Norma Jean Fitzgerald; and his brother-in-law Leonard Kowalski (Emily). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his dog.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home (3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church (6477 Ada Dr SE, Ada, MI 49301). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home (3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546).
