He was predeceased by: his grandmother Ruth Martin. He is survived by: his daughter Sophia Bess; his wife Lisa Bess; and his mother Ann Bess. He is also survived by many other extended family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reyers North Valley Chapel (2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nelson's memory may be made to Humane Society of West Michigan.
