She was predeceased by: her husband Ed; her son Steve; and her parents, John Baan and Roselyn Vander Baan. She is survived by: her sons, Ed Jr. (Beth), Jim (Karol) and Dave (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Kristen (Patt), Michelle (Kyle), Jacob, Mark, Kevin (Michelle), Nick, Eric (Cheyenne), Trevor (Zoe), Kati (Kyle), Kimberly (Sasha), Laura and Emily (Peyton); her great grandchildren, Noah, Nash, Jaxen, Casen, Ava, Benjamin and Reed; and her brother John (Elaine). She is also survived by many other family members and close friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (47 Jefferson Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the house of worship or charity of one's choice.
