It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Fleming of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mary Jo leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her foster mother Mary Cook; and her brother Tom Swanson. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Fleming; her sons, Jason Morrison (Lissa), Kevin Morrison and Daniel Fleming; and her grandson Cayden Morrison.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Est Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1535 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
