Marilyn Kay Shantz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Kay Shantz of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her parents, Orville Misner and Ardys Misner (Peasley); and her brother Jack Misner (Claudia). She is survived by: her children, Steve Shantz (Janet), Pam Senn (Jeff) and Dan Shantz (Trish); her grandchildren, Nate Shantz (Keilah), Ben Shantz (Joy), Leesha Shantz, Jess Sinnaeve (Jack), Matt Senn, Rick Senn, Katie Shantz and Jake Shantz; her great grandchildren, Sam Shantz, Beatrice Shantz, Rosie Shantz, Walt Shantz and Sinnaeve; and her sister Ruth Misner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 2432 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
Marilyn and Dick delivered audio tapes of Sunday services to assisted living facilities and helped process donations to the benevolence program.
