Marie Holtrop Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Holtrop in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Greenfield and Dena Greenfield; her husband Phil; her sister Claire Vroegop (John); her siblings-in-law, Eloise VanLaar (Jack), Marian Texer (Henry), Elton Holtrop (Bud) and Wayne Leys; her son Steve; and her daughter-in-law Julie Holtrop.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Sharon Bouma; her son Phil; her daughter-in-law Sandy; her children, Dan, Pete, Chinese, Hongqi Fan and Rose Wang; her sister-in-law Doris Slot; and her siblings, Jo Faber (George), Chris Leys, Bill Greenfield (Mary) and Pete Greenfield (Jane). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eastern Avenue Christian Reformed Church (514 Eastern Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
