She is survived by: her children, Mary VanderVeen (Scott), Sarah Peshek (Chris), Carole Rehmet (Chris) and David Bach (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Drew VanderVeen (Joey), Kyle VanderVeen (Tessa), Steve VanderVeen (Erin), Jake VanderVeen (Brooke), Maria VanderVeen, Katie Peshek, RJ Peshek, Jackson Rehmet (Sarah) and Joe Rehmet; and her extended family, Marlyn Pierce (Travis), Rossy Hughes (Ross) and Liliana Merida. She is also survived by her 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cascade Christian Church (2829 Thornapple River Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
