She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Battjes and Dena Battjes (Vermaire). She is survived by: her husband Dean; her children, Mike Boot (Laura) of Elmhurst, IL, Lyn Van Tol (Brett) of Spring Lake and Elizabeth Tanja (John) of Grandville; her grandchildren, Annaliese Loo (Jon), Nathan Boot (Libby), Adelyn Wooden (Stephen), Kylee VanTol, Mitchell Tanja (Courtney) and Katherine Austin (Luke); her great grandchildren, Micah, Audrey Loo, Samuel Wooden, George, Annie Boot and Tinley Tanja; and her brother Phillip Battjes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marcia's memory to Noorthoek Academy in Grand Rapids or Covenant Living of the Great Lakes in Grand Rapids.
