He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Rafaela Perez Colon and Luz Eneida Perez Colon; his children, Jorge Perez (Rose), Israel Perez (Carmen), Agapito Perez (Peggy), Shirley Ann Perez, Ricky Perez, David Perez, Luz Miriam Perez and Manuel Perez Otero; his stepchildren, Ortencia Vazquez Sanchez, Eloysa Jaramillo, Rachel Kelm (Joe), Adelita Haller Nielsen (Morten) and Luis Tosado; and his son John "Johnnie" Perez. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great grand children, great great grand children, neices, nephews and cousins.
