Loretta June Verkade Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta June Verkade (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Seymour Bylsma (Bud). She is survived by: her husband Bud Bylsma; her son David Bylsma; her grandchildren, Breonna, Martin and Cody; her daughter Nancy Van Winkle (Jeff); her grandchildren, Andrew Van Winkle (Paige Vermaat), Leslie Moncayo (Charles), Mark Van Winkle, Ella and James Moncayo; her sister LaVonne (Al Kloet); and her sister-in-law Shirley (Robert Hoffman). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
