It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linnea Bylsma (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linnea Bylsma to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John H. "Jack" Bylsma Jr.; her son Scott Bylsma; her father Stanley Larson (Sveri); and her in-laws, John H. Bylsma Sr. (Hazel) and Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, John H. Bylsma III (Sarah), Sharon Bylsma, Kristi Elliott (Kirt), Kerri Allen (Jon), Kevin Bylsma (Megan) and Matt Bylsma (Kendra); her siblings, Dan Larson (Jan) and Dodie Weston (Al); and her siblings-in-law, Reita Julien (Jerry), Karen Postmus (Tom), Bruce Bylsma (Jan), Vonnie VanderWeide (Steve) and Dan Bylsma (Sharon). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Est Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Est Live Stream First Evangelical Covenant Church (1933 Tremont Blvd NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
