He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Elder and Mary Elder (Peters); and his sister Rita Hughes. He is survived by: his family Larry; his friend Larry; his sons, Craig, Larry and Rock; his great grandchild Peyton; his wife Carol Jean Elder; his sons, James, Scott and Tony Elder; his granddaughter Stephanie Scott (Doug); his great grandchild Payton; his sister Sharon; and his close friend Harold Radford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Est Faith Community Church of West Michigan (2600 7th St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Faith Hospice.
