With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathleen M. Gibson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathleen left this world on September 19, 2024 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Olszewski and Helen Olszewski; her brother Charles Olszewski; and her brother-in-law Donald Gillis. She is survived by: her husband William H. Gibson Jr.; her children, Carrie Zandbergen (Adam Luedke), William H. Gibson III (Renae), Kristen Keegstra (Zack) and Kelli Jo Miller (Alan); her grandchildren, Claire Miller, Max Zandbergen and Cole Miller; her sister Marilyn Gillis; and her sister-in-law Janet Olszewski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Pius X Catholic Parish (3937 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods, as they were an incredible source of comfort and support for Kathleen and her family. Additional donations can be made in her honor to Saint Pius X Catholic Parish. faithhospicecare.org.
