Julia Gibbs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Gibbs of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bayn and Nellie Sutton; and her siblings, Virginia Burnham, Wilma Raymer, Harold Bayn, William Bayn and Donald Bayn.
She is survived by: her husband Wyland Gibbs D. D. S.; her children, David Gibbs and Cari Underdahl (Randy); her grandchildren, Tana Somerville (Brian), Tyler Riddle (MaKenzie), Jeremy Gibbs, Kaitlyn Gibbs and Destiny Chwalek; and her great grandchildren, Karley Riddle, Connor Somerville, Carter Somerville and Ethan Riddle.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Orchard Hill Reformed Church (1465 3 Mile Rd NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49544).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Orchard Hill Reformed Church.
