She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Hoogterp (Joel), Debra Wilcox (Ron), Vicki Pine (David) and Cheryl VandenBerg; her grandchildren, Nicole, Eric, Kelli, Sarah, Amanda, Jason, Ron III and Chad; her stepgrandchildren, Mark, Jeffrey, Kelly and Jason; and her pets, Pug, Bucky, Kitty and Freya.
She worked as a Caseworker for Kent County Social Services for over 20 years before becoming a volunteer to caring and financially donating for cats at Crash's Landing and Focus on Ferals.
