Joy Teitsma Obituary
The memory of Joy Teitsma of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 15, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wiersma and Marie Wiersma; and her sister-in-law Ann Wiersma. She is survived by: her children, Tammy, Ron Schollaart, Tom and Rocky Teitsma; her grandchildren, Kyle, Amanda Schollaart, Chad Schollaart, Chrissie Oken, Tom Jr., Rachael Teitsma, Keegan, Jordan Teitsma, Brad Teitsma, Chris, Maria Teitsma and Kendall Teitsma; and her siblings, Harry Wiersma (Butch), Ruth (Larry Crossman), Esther (Paul Brandt) and Dan (ZuEllen Wiersma). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel (1601 Post Dr NE, Belmont, MI 49306). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
