With solemn reverence, we commemorate John O. Muir (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose life came to an end on February 27, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyce Muir and Ellen Muir (Owen); his grandson Jeremy; and his brothers, Kenneth and Bruce Muir.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Muir (Bigelow); his stepchildren, Diane Hill (Tim), Colleen King, Michael Harcek (Beth), Thom Harcek, Todd Harcek, Katie Harcek-Westcott and Mark Harcek (Angela); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jaime, Kayla, Logan, Jack and Carter; his great grandchildren, Mark, Zane, Novali, Liam, Haylee, Aspen and Kendra; his great great grandchild Amelia; and his brother Robert Muir. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (227 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
