He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Malon; and his brother Mitchell Malon. He is survived by: his mother Julianna Malon; his siblings, Eric Malon (Maria), Maria Boyd (David), Barbara Frasier and Christine Cole (Mike); and his nieces and nephews, David, Matt Malon, Rachel, Michael Boyd, Cassandra, Tristan Frasier and Erica Smole.
With this in mind, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in John's memory to Feeding America West Michigan (feedwm.org), as a tribute to his compassionate and giving nature.
