He was predeceased by: his wife Alieda; his grandson Benjamin De Graaf; and his sisters, Mary Jane Eisen, Jean Roozee, Janet Tonsmeire and Esther Feenstra.
He is survived by: his children, Jim De Graaf (Bev), Jeananne Kuiper (Daniel), Dale De Graaf (Barb) and Brent De Graaf (Roxanne); his sister Marilyn Bratt; and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Melvin Van Boven (Carole) and Eugene Holland.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
