He was predeceased by: his children, Melanie, Roger DeVries, Robert Morris and Ricky Morris. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Morris; his daughter Mary Jo Morris (Mike Skula); his granddaughter Jennifer Zaleski (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Chase Johnston, Kaleb Zaleski and Brooklyn Zaleski; and his sister-in-law Joyce Boynton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (224 Carrier St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). The military honors was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Plainfield Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mary Jo Morris Liver Transplant Fund.
